Hatha Yoga

Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. Commonly referred to as “flow” yoga. This transition coordinates with your breathing. It’s done specifically as you exhale or inhale, and it gives you the feeling that your breath is moving your body.

A fast-paced Vinyasa session can be physically challenging.

This class usually starts with an introduction about the class the instructor will ask you for your injury history, your intention for the practice and the practice start by focusing on the breath, warmup for the whole body followed by classical sun salutation three sets.

The teacher will then guide you in small small chunks of flow, carefully designed depending upon the needs of the clients, you may not hold the poses for a long period of time like in power, but there will be smooth transitions from pose to pose which will make the class sweaty and cardio.

Usually you will have 3-4 chunks of flow in the class.

Vinyasa yoga improves energy levels while promoting relaxation and lowering stress levels. It also offers several other benefits, including:

  • Endurance and strength training.
  • Stability and balance.
  • Cardio workout
  • Lower stress, less anxiety.

The class will then end on the sweet part of the practice guided relaxation.
